ToolPickly operates the site and determines how data is handled for its own features. This notice covers page visits, privacy choices, optional analytics, advertising, and affiliate links. Software brands, Secret, hosting providers, and Google remain responsible for their independent services.
Data handled
- Basic technical logs: time, requested page, browser or device type, IP address, and approximate network information may be recorded by hosting and delivery services for security and reliability.
- Privacy preference: analytics and advertising choices, decision time, policy version, and 180-day expiry are stored only in the current browser.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics is enabled only after permission and measures page visits, search terms you actively submit, outbound and affiliate links, comparison selections, and tool actions. Candidate names, individual scorecard ratings, calculator inputs, account data, and form data are not sent.
- Local tool data: scorecard candidate names and ratings are stored in the current browser only when you choose Save. They are not uploaded to ToolPickly.
- Advertising data: Google AdSense loads only after separate advertising permission and may then process cookies, local storage, device, and network information.
- Outbound links: affiliate parameters may support attribution. The destination handles the visit under its own policy after you leave ToolPickly.
Purposes and legal basis
Basic logs and necessary preference storage support secure site delivery and remember your choice. Analytics and advertising each depend on your affirmative choice. Rejecting optional storage does not restrict the directory, comparisons, calculator, or deal guides.
Sharing, transfers, and retention
Hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may process data for the site. After advertising is allowed, Google may process data through global infrastructure. Third-party locations and retention periods follow their published policies. ToolPickly keeps the browser preference for 180 days, while basic logs follow the provider's security retention schedule.
Google advertising-cookie disclosure
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to deliver and measure those ads. Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising and can use ToolPickly's Privacy settings to stop this site from loading the advertising script on future visits.
If other third-party ad networks are enabled in the future, this notice or the Cookie Policy will identify the vendors and link to their privacy and opt-out choices.
Your rights
Use Privacy settings anywhere on the site to separately accept, reject, or withdraw analytics and advertising permission. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to notice, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and complaint. Because the current site has no accounts or forms, ToolPickly generally cannot identify a specific person from an anonymous visit. A dedicated privacy contact channel will be provided before direct data-collection features launch.
Children and security
The site is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect identity information from minors. We use data minimization, access controls, and managed hosting, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes and external links
We will update this notice before adding accounts, subscriptions, synced saved items, new analytics functions, or new advertising providers, and ask again when purposes materially change. Review the destination's own privacy policy after leaving ToolPickly.
