TToolPickly
Advertising and funding policy

Revenue may support the work. It does not replace editorial judgment.

ToolPickly may be funded by affiliate commissions and display advertising. A commercial relationship is disclosed and never guarantees inclusion, a positive review, a ranking, or a higher editorial score.

How the site may earn

  • Affiliate links: ToolPickly may earn a commission when a visitor registers or buys through a labeled referral link, normally without increasing the visitor's price.
  • Display advertising: after Google AdSense completes site review and regional consent requirements are met, ads may appear on selected pages with original publisher content.
  • Future sponsorships: paid features, supplied review access, or sponsored material will be labeled at the beginning of the relevant content and will not be presented as an independent verdict.
02

Editorial independence

Commission rates, ad purchases, and brand relationships do not determine inclusion, order, verdicts, or alternatives. Product Hunt rankings, GitHub stars, and deal listings are discovery signals only; publication decisions return to official product, pricing, help, license, and legal sources.

ToolPickly does not accept arrangements that require hiding risk, omitting limitations, guaranteeing positive coverage, or claiming hands-on testing that did not occur. A company may point out factual errors but cannot pre-approve an editorial conclusion.

03

Where ads may appear

Ads are considered only for original guides, deep comparisons, calculator explanations, software-change records, open-source adoption research, and manually reviewed tool profiles. Home, Privacy, Cookies, Terms, About, Corrections, deal-claim, and primarily navigational pages are not treated as ad pages.

Ads must not cover the article, imitate navigation or download controls, block reading, or outweigh the publisher value on a page.

04

Privacy and regional consent

Analytics and advertising storage are off by default and controlled separately. Google and other approved ad-technology vendors may use cookies or local storage for delivery, frequency control, personalization, and measurement; see the Privacy and Cookie policies for details.

Before personalized ads are served in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB TCF must also be enabled in AdSense. ToolPickly's current basic privacy controls are not described as a substitute for that regional certified CMP.

05

Labeling rules

  • Affiliate destinations use the sponsored link relationship and a nearby commission disclosure.
  • Ordinary official links are not downgraded because they pay no commission.
  • Sponsored material, vendor-supplied information, and independent editorial work use distinct labels.
  • Prices, discounts, and eligibility follow the current vendor or redemption page and are never guaranteed to remain available.
06

Corrections and complaints

If an ad disrupts reading, a commercial disclosure is unclear, or a relationship may affect a judgment, use the correction and change-report page with the affected URL and evidence. Issues affecting purchase, safety, privacy, or trust receive priority.

Continue from discovery to an evidence-led adoption decision.
